Title: Fires of Passion Author: Viper Inferno E-mail: viperdvman@hotmail.com Rated: G Howdy, Sailor Moon Fans. The World of Y2V just keeps on goin', so welcome back. I decided to take a short break from the saga and drag Russell outside the "Warrior of Fire Anthology" for this fanfic. This is my first attempt at writin' a pure romance story. This story is basically Russell talking to the reader, sharing his feelings and a short history lesson. Hope y'all enjoy it. Here's my... ...Disclaimer: Sailor Moon and most of the characters ain't mine. They belong to Naoko Takeuchi, and I thank that woman for creating such great entertainment for all of us with a lot of free time on our hands to enjoy. The English dub belongs to DiC Entertainment, and I thank them for bringing' it to America, even though they lost the rights. Finally the S season's in America, it's goin' pretty good so far. Anyways, Russell Hino, Hino Kyodai, Tuxedo Inferno, and all his other identities are MINE (in a deep, dark, growling voice). Titanius is also mine. So, please don't sue me. Well, y'all enjoy this fanfic and e-mail me. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Fires of Passion By Viper Inferno Russell sits on a cozy chair next to a fireplace. He's wearing a maroon robe and holding a long cigarette holder. "Please," he says with a slight French accent, "Come on in." You walk in the beautifully decorated study. In the dimly lit study, you notice the thousands of books lining all the walls except for the wall where the fireplace is located. A picture of the Mars Queen hangs directly above the fireplace. "Please, sit, enjoy the warm fire," says Russell. You sit in a chair identical to the one Russell is sitting in on the other side of the fireplace. "Would you like some champagne?" Russell asks, going heavier on his fake French accent. You grab a crystal cocktail glass in response. Russell grabs the bottle of champagne from the ice pack and pops the cork, causing it to fly clear across the cavernous study. He grabs a glass and pours the champagne in your glass first, then his. He then replaces the bottle in the ice pack. "Have you ever met the girl or guy, respectively, of your dreams? (You shake your head in response) Well, I'm gonna tell you a little about this girl I met a couple months ago. (He takes a sip of his champagne, then lays off the french accent) The day after I moved back in with my younger sister Raye, she brought me over to meet her friends. As usual as it is with me, one of the girls almost immediately puts the moves on me. She had blonde hair, blue eyes, and a large, but cute bow in her hair. Her name was Mina Aino. She really began flirting with me when another girl named Serena invited all of us to go to the movies. Mina seemed to use her looks and a little flirting to get her way. I mean, how could you say no to such a cute face. I decided to be a nice guy and take her to the movies. Only 4 of us went that night since Serena's date dumped her, making her cry her little heart out. The movie wasn't the best one out at that time, but I did enjoy it with Mina. She gave me a gentle, yet, emotional kiss after I had taken her home for the evening. After that night, I began spending time with this girl. A week later, I took her to the mall. I had a surprise for her that night. (Both you and Russell take sips of champagne) I did some music and clothes shopping with her, but in the middle of it, she had to leave for some reason. (He takes a puff from his cigarette and lets out a Venus symbol smoke ring) So I went to the department store do look for some men's clothes. A short time later, I had to leave to do something. (You finish your glass of champagne) Would you like some more? (You shake your head "yes" in response and he pours you another glass) Later I returned, thinking that she might be looking for me. So I walked over to the fountain and waited for her. Not long after, she called my name from the second story. We both ran for the nearby escalator. Halfway, she jumped over the rails and into my arms. I swear, she should've been in some kind of sport, whether volleyball, soccer, or even cheerleading. She was in tears when we got to the top, apologizing for leaving me like that. I forgave her, for I was equally guilty. I took her to my surprise that night. 'The Light Warrior' had just come out the day before. It was quite wearisome to get my hands on two tickets for that movie. But for her, it was indeed worth it. It was a truly magnificent movie. It received two thumbs up, five stars, and so many great comments from newspaper, movie, and TV critics, that I was about to go crazy just from hearing it. I can tell you that it's going to New York and win some American movie awards called 'Oscars'. Mina cried towards the end of the movie when the good guy died. After I had taken her home that night, I thought that maybe she was the right girl for me. (He takes a puff and drinks the rest of his champagne) She wasn't. A week later, we talked. She kinda wanted us to be friends. It's no wonder a girl as beautiful as she never gets a boyfriend. From what I heard from Raye, she usually forgets about you the next day if she meets you. So don't count on getting into a relationship with her. (He refills his champagne glass) Then came in my life a girl named Lita. She was quite different from Mina, but very much the same in that they are both guy crazy. She was a tall and slim girl. She had brunette hair, usually pulled up tightly and held up by a barrette, and a pair of some of the most beautiful emerald green eyes I had ever seen. She seemed to like the fact I liked Sailor Jupiter. (You ask about Sailor Jupiter) Well, (He takes a sip of champagne) I like Sailor Jupiter, but she's not my favorite. I admire a girl with great strength, and Lita had that, but she seemed to hide it a lot. I could tell she was ashamed of her physical strength. Raye told me that was why she cooks and does all the housework, kinda wanted to fit in with other girls. What I didn't like about her was the fact that she did everything by herself. She never let anyone, let alone me, be a gentleman. She also had a very hot temper, worse than even Raye's. I later decided to end that relationship. (He takes a puff from his cigarette) She didn't take it that well. I got a pretty good beating form her. She's definitely a strong girl. The good news is that she and I are still friends. She definitely wasn't the one in my dreams. (You ask when he's going to get to the part about the girl of his dreams.) Ah, you want me to actually talk about the girl of my dreams. (He finishes his second glass of champagne) I met her the same day Raye first took me to meet her friends. Her name is Amy Anderson. To tell you the truth, I started thinking about this girl since I first met her. She has this... well... silence to her. She doesn't seem to talk much at all since she spends most of her time studying. Somehow, though, she seems to be well aware of her environment, seeing that she'll sometimes put her two cents worth in a conversation. She's got this enchanting face, as if she's about to break out in tears of joy. Her hair grabs my attention too, I guess it has something to do with me and shorthaired girls. The way that such short hair flows in the wind is but a great enigma, but nevertheless, it reminds me of the fresh sea breeze at sunset. But what really grabs my attention (He takes a puff) is when she looks at me with those dazzling sapphire blue eyes. As I think of her, I also think of how she could use those blue eyes to experience the world in reality rather than in books. Speaking of books, that's another thing I actually like about her. For a fourteen-year-old, she's a very smart girl with an I.Q. a little bit higher than mine, about 300 I think it is. Her favorite scout is Sailor Mercury, who is also my favorite. Amy likes her because Sailor Mercury is so much like her. She's the brains of the group and tends to use them rather than her powers. Often, I dream of a girl like her, like someone from my past, my distant past. And every time I see Amy, it reminds me of the girl in my dreams. What all I remember in my dreams very much tie in to more... detailed parts of my life. I remember an oceanic music background when I see this girl. (He gets up and walks over to a stereo on one of the bookshelves, pops a CD in, and turns on some oceanic music) That is probably why I like oceanic music. (He takes his seat and pours champagne in both glasses. You take a sip and ask about his dreams) Ah, so you want to know what brings up such feelings for any girl. (He sips some champagne) I often dream of ballroom dancing in a majestic palace, like it belonged to a queen. I remember seeing a guy who reminds of my best friend Darien, urging me to dance with a girl. And I do remember dancing with at least 3 girls, I hope it satisfied him. But one girl really stands out among those 3. In every dream, she always wears a light blue silk dress with short leg-o-mutton sleeves, a blue sash with a large bow in the back, long white gloves, and a white rose in her hair. We dance to maybe 2 or 3 songs, all oceanic. She and I seem to be emotionally into the song as we dance to it. Another scene is on a balcony overlooking a large pond glistening in the moonlight. And on the balcony with me is none other than that same girl. (You ask him about her) Well, I do believe she's some kind of princess, but not of that palace, 'cause I once dreamt of taking her home to her own palace, where she and I shared a few feelings, and a passionate kiss. Back to the balcony, I can tell you that the words she spoke, the similes and metaphors she used, and even our kiss all bring me great feelings of fiery, passionate love. What's odd is that her face is somehow something I can't remember, and I don't even remember hearing her name. Back to Amy Anderson, she seems to be much like the princess in my dreams, I just don't know how that is. I lie in bed at night, and the very thought of her often keeps me awake. When I have those dreams, I wake up often wondering if perhaps Amy is that princess. Then I think about Amy and how I want her to be that princess in my dreams. (You ask why have feelings for two girls) It's difficult to say, really. Amy's been always on my mind, even during the time I was brainwashed by the Negaverse. And she still is on my mind. But the princess lives in my dreams, and I can't get my mind off her either. Maybe I'm just in love with two girls, and have been the whole time, or maybe Amy and that princess are really the same girl. Confusing, isn't it? (You shake your head in response and take a sip of champagne) One day, I'll find out who the princess in my dreams really is. Amy could very well be that princess. I'll tell you this, Amy's more like her than any other girl I have dated, or met. But I want to be with Amy, and it's not that easy, for there are many questions. Does she think the same way of me? Is she even my type? Am I just wasting my time since I had little luck with Mina and Lita? Is she gonna lead a secret life involving pagan rituals I've never heard of? (Russell takes a sip of champagne as you encourage him to look for positive 'what ifs') You're right. It may be difficult, but I'll know someday if my feelings for Amy are true. Maybe I should keep the princess dream alive, since it reveals a lot about my feelings and me. She also represents the right girl for me, the perfect one, the one I was made in heaven for. I'll find the princess here on earth someday. I'll find her, hold her in my warm arms, and call her my divine love, my angel, my "princess". How I want to meet the very girl who sparked my interest in oceanic music, who gave me something to admire about the moonlight, who motivated me on this quest to find her. She's here... somewhere; I just gotta... find her. You're one of very few people I have shared any my feelings with, let alone my love life. If you have a prince or princess, respectively, of your dreams, go for it. It is better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all, wondering what you could've or could not have had. (You and Russell both get up) Have a wonderful day, and may love be ever so dominant in your mind, and your heart. (Russell walks you out) ----------------------------------The end------------------------------ There it is, a short story Russell tells of his love life. It may not be up to any standards of any Sailor Moon romance stories, but I'll work. This is merely a man talking about feelings. And it'll help me get the practice I need for any future romance stories. I'm gonna start on another romance project here soon, and a much better one. Anyways, I'm getting back on my 'Children of Fire' project. Y'all e-mail me with comments, a'ight? Have fun Sailor Moon fans, Viper Inferno (Y2V)
